So this week has been very dry for the work, we weren't able to get a whole lot done. Sister Ho. had a really bad cold Wednesday-Saturday so we didn't go anywhere or see anyone for a good chunk of the week so she could get better and not get anyone else sick. I did everything I could to help her get better and I think it made a difference. She has a little left over cough now, but otherwise is all better today.
Tuesday, we did a training in district meeting on using the scriptures and Sister Ho. did a great job in helping teach the lesson. We also taught the gospel principles lesson yesterday in church on family responsibilities, ha, that was fun. At least we didn't have to teach about eternal marriage, which is next weeks lesson, haha. Right now Sister Ho. and I are really working on how to more effectively build and help the branch. The branch mission plan hasn't been updated in two years, so we thought we would make a draft of one and then discuss it with the branch since no one else has done it. We are also trying to think of ways to better assist the branch president here, he seems willing to work with us so that's good and hopefully we can combine our efforts together to better help the members active, less active, and bringing new members into the church. As a result of how this week has gone, we have no new investigators.. yet. And weather wise, we did get some snow and wind for a couple of days but that didn't last long and the snow would melt by the next day so it's been cold but not unbearable. The new car we got handles great in snow, thank goodness they switched to Subaru, the Toyota doesn't do so well in snow and ice, anyway till next week!
